calling all talent

The Armstrong Ghost Walk, hosted by Asparagus Community Theatre, is coming up soon! This year it’s all about villains as we present “A Twisted Trail” with a cowboy western theme! We will need performers, musicians, directors and volunteers!

Our first meeting will be on September 11, 6:00 at the train station (Spirit Square). If you’re unable to attend, please let us know if you’d like to participate!

It’s going to be loads of fun, folks, so see you there!.


AUDITION NOTICE

Seeking boys ages 6 - 10 years for our Christmas production, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”. No experience necessary. Fun and organized chaos guaranteed.

To continue to be a thriving community theatre, we would like to hear from you.  If you are interested in running for a position please attend the meeting, or you can let your name stand for any of these positions, by contacting our email address. You can do this anytime prior to our AGM.
 
We are a charitable non profit organization, and run on a volunteer basis. The current board is very proud of our accomplishments this last couple of years after regrouping in 2022 after Covid hiatus.  
 
We have made some great changes to our social media, with a new logo and website,  a new Instagram page, linked to our Facebook page
 
We also have had two sold out Fundraisers shows “Too Much” and a murder mystery, as well as a ghost walk, and two large productions “A Snow White Christmas” and “Staffroom”, (winning several awards at festival). We have also introduced acting classes available through Parks and Rec.

Memberships are 10.00 per person and $20.00 per family. (Bargain, nothing has changed there)
• If you are interested in participating in future ACT events we want to hear from you whether onstage, offstage, techie skills, artists, musicians...or be on the board.  You must be a member if you want to par take in any event, as well as serve on the board (insurance purposes).

ACT is excited to offer acting classes for adults and teens again this fall. Explore your creative side in a fun, safe, supportive environment to develop your skills. Classes are designed for both beginners and those with some experience, focusing on building confidence, improving stage presence, and mastering the art of storytelling. We will explore voice and movement, improvisation, character development, scene work and audition techniques. Space is limited so sign up now through Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Rec.
